Bank holidays in July 2023: Banks will closed for 15 days in June check state-wise bank holiday list - Economic Times

Banks will remain closed for 15 days in July 2023, according to the Reserve Bank of India's (RBI) calendar of holidays. These holidays include second and fourth Saturdays of the month and Sundays. As per the RBI holiday calendar list, eight holidays are state-specific holidays for different occasions and others are weekend holidays.

Both public and private banks will remain closed on occasions of Guru Hargobind Ji's Birthday, MHIP Day, Ker Puja, Bhanu Jayanti, U Tirot Sing Day, Drukpa Tshe-zi, Ashoora, Muharram (Tajiya) in select states.

July 5 (Wednesday)- Guru Hargobind Ji's Birthday- Banks are closed in Jammu and Srinagar.
July 6 (Thursday)- MHIP Day- Banks are closed in Mizoram.
July 11 (Tuesday)- Ker Puja- Banks are closed in Tripura
July 13 (Thursday)- Bhanu Jayanti- Banks are closed in Sikkim.
July 17 (Monday)-U Tirot Sing Day- Banks closed in Meghalaya
July 21 (Friday)- Drukpa Tshe-zi- Banks are closed in Sikkim.
July 28 (Friday) – Ashoora- Banks are closed in Jammu and Srinagar.
July 29 (Saturday)-Muharram (Tajiya)- Banks are closed in Tripura, Mizoram, Maharashtra, Karnataka, MP, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Rajasthan, UP, Bengal, New Delhi, Bihar, Jharkhand, HP.
