July bank holidays
In July 2023, banks will be closed for 15 days, including the second and fourth Saturdays of the month and Sundays Both public and private banks will remain closed on occasions of Guru Hargobind Ji's Birthday, MHIP Day, Ker Puja, Bhanu Jayanti, U Tirot Sing Day, Drukpa Tshe-zi, Ashoora, Muharram (Tajiya) in select states.
The Bank holidays have been designated by the RBI as follows: Holiday under the Negotiable Instruments Act; Holiday under the Negotiable Instruments Act and Real-Time Gross Settlement Holiday; and Banks' Closing of Accounts.
