Mark your calendars for the annual Holiday Markets! Come out to support your local artisans, farmers, and food vendors! You can pick up gifts for the holidays, grab some food for holiday meals, or treat yourself to something special.

  • Dates: Nov. 11 & Dec. 16, 2023
  • Hours: 8 a.m. - 1 p.m.
  • Locations: Robert A. Lee Recreation Center, 220 S. Gilbert St.

The Holiday Markets will be held in the Recreation Center’s first-floor gymnasium and second-floor Social Hall. Farmers Market vendors and artists will have homemade, handcrafted, seasonal gifts, and food available for purchase. The event will also feature kids crafts, breakfast and lunch options made fresh on-site, and more.

CNN  —  This past weekend, I had one of the most unusual experiences of my life: a day of air travel that was easy, sensible, efficient — dare I say pleasant. Passengers and airport staff alike were friendly and polite. The airplane seat offered enough room for both of my legs and both of my arms. We took off on time and landed early.
