Youngstown sets holiday fest | News, Sports, Jobs - Youngstown Vindicator

YOUNGSTOWN — The city’s downtown holiday celebration, which includes a parade, market and Christmas tree lighting will be Dec. 1.

There will be several vendors selling items starting at 4 p.m. on North Phelps Street as part of Flea on Phelps.

The parade will start at 6 p.m. and the Christmas tree on Central Square will be lit up around 7:15 p.m.

There also will be drink specials at downtown restaurants and bars and free admission from 4 to 6 p.m. at OH WOW! The Roger & Gloria Jones Children’s Center for Science & Technology on the square.

To participate in the parade, go online to youngstowncityscape.org.

The event is sponsored by the city of Youngstown, Youngstown CityScape, the Downtown Youngstown Partnership and Premier Bank.
